    This is cool

I like the new sections, it should be fun to see them fill up!

The baby my sugar gliders produced (Moofy) is doing really well, I took some cute new pictures of him last week and thought I would share!

They grow so fast, hes still not fully grown, but hes getting big! I can take him places with me now if I'm going out for short periods of time and he sleeps in his pouch the whole time, never cried once.

Awesome! Are they stinky at all? That's an exotic "small mammal" that I've thought about looking into, lol.

I've have/have had a lot of pets and these are the hardest pets I've had to take care of other than my horse. They are pretty stinky, but only their pee. If you keep up on cleaning the cage/pouches then there isn't much smell, the suggie itself doesn't smell bad, they stay pretty clean.
They're fun to have once you get a routine down with them, if you do a lot of research before hand it shouldn't be a problem!
If you do plan on looking into them these are a few points I think you should focus on: They need to live in pairs or more (unless you have 4 hours a day to devote to a single glider), they need to live in large cages (mine are in a really nice big birdcage, it was only $150), you will have to make their food (BML and HPW are some popular diets, I do HPW).

If you get serious about looking into them let me know, I'm part of a really great glider forum that has been a lot of help!

Awwww, I adore Sugar Gliders. We have three (not part of the rescue). The two females have babies in the pouch. I cannot wait for them to start to emerge!

Yeah, they do have a smell....I don't think of it as stinky....kind of sickly sweet maybe? LOL

They require daily cleaning as they spend most of their time in a "pouch"....even the adults....pee and poop in them...

edie....what have you found that their toenails don't get stuck in? I bought "doggie elf hats" after christmas....turned them inside out and they work great.....but they went through them....anything work well for you?

The sleeping pouch is ALWAYS being cleaned because it stinks so much! I just have a lot of fleece pouches and hammocks for them now, its thicker than the old pouches I had and their nails don't get caught as often as they used to.. I bought one of those wheels that are made just for the suggies and they put "trim traks" in them and it keeps Moofys nails down a little (hes the only one that uses it)

Oh! Coconut sleeping pouches work well too, I have a pouch with a coconut half in it that I bought and they never get caught in it, once all 3 of them squeezed in it and slept there.. I'll get a picture of it for you later tonight.
