    ASF & Mice?

We are looking into expanding from the rats, as they are well on their way to being established.
What we're wondering is if its realistic to try to find ASF's and avoid the mice. From everything I hear they would be easier, more productive, and less trouble all the way around.

    Re: ASF & Mice?

I personally like the ASF better than mice. It was a very hard decision when starting to breed my own feeders between the ASF and regular rats. We went with the normal rats as they are gentler and make great pets. I was still very concerned with the biting ASF's... but so far I haven't been bitten.
