6 pounds, 5 ounces and 21 inches tall. Afraid I can't help you prove your point.

I weighed 9lbs 9oz when I was born and had never considered it as being amazingly large.

Re: What was your weight as a baby?

    I weighed 8lbs 5oz, 20''

    Now, almost 19 years later: 103lbs, 5'3''.

I don't think that size at birth determines adult size...

Re: What was your weight as a baby?

My sister was 10 lbs 5 ozs. At the time, she was the largest live baby that particular doctor had delivered. It is kind of sad that the doctor specified "live" if you think about it. Apparently doctors didn't know how to deal with big babies back then.

I wasn't quite so big, somewhere around 9 1/2 lbs.

Big babies that size and bigger aren't unusual anymore. My daughter was 11 lbs 1 oz, and she "only" got the distinction of being the biggest baby born to a 1st-time mother at the birth center where I had her.

My sister's babies were really big too. She had twins that were 7 lbs 8 ozs and 7 lbs 9 ozs. Yes, that is right, over 15 lbs of baby! Her other baby was 11 lbs 1 oz, just like mine.

Big babies run in our family!
    Casey
