Red ear slider will only eat krill

My new baby red ear slider only seems to want to eat krill. He won't eat food sticks or the moist cubed food we got for him. Can't get him to eat greens either. He only eats the little shrimp. Anyone here more experienced than me have any helpful hints?

Did you try Guppy's? They LOVE chasing and eating guppy fish!

Just stick it out, stop offering any krill and offer only foodsticks and greens, he'll be chomping away within a few days.

Thanks for the responses, guys. We decided to stick it out until he eats. Got him some new round and colorful juvie food and he seems to be more interested than he is in the sticks.

I use to raise baby turtles of all species my albino RES & spotteds would hatch & then I would get them eating on brine shrimp(krill) then I would offer ciclid gold fish food small , then move up in size, ciclid gold oscar food would raise up turtles with NO shell deformations & great color just like wild animals,turtle pellets always gave them a lumpy shell even painted turles would have a smooth shell just like wild caughts, try it its in all the pet stores.
