    paying it forward - foster update

    Awhile ago I posted some photos of our ASF colony who fostered a mouse pinky...

    well "Lucky" must be very thankful...here she is babysitting and grooming one of the two new litters of ASF babies



    from what we can count (without pulling back a stub for fingers) is 15 new babies

    That's precious! How old were your ASFs when they turned evil? I just got mine and I'm trying to prepare for when I need to be extra careful about reaching in their cage.

    Not including the 10 adults we started with...Our first litter are "teens" and they're pretty nippy. We don't handle them much because once I get the "awww, cute" thing going, they become pets and not feeders...
