    Re: What size tubaware

Most males will be fine in a 32 qt tub for their entire lives...

Most people keep breeder size females in 41qt tubs.

What size is your bp? Age and weight...?

I'd suggest 27-32 qt. sterilite for an adult male. While tubaware holds heat ok, you can't see through the brass and the spit valves will likely become a pain to clean when your snake finishes a song.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?

    Re: What size tubaware

All my ball pythons are around two ft. long. My biggest one is about three ft. I have all of them in tubawares that measure about 22in. long, 16in. wide and 6in. high. But I dont know how many qt.'s they are. But you guys think those are good for adult bp's?

I feel that the Iris containers are best because they have a flat bottom facilitating easier cleaning! I believe that an adult male does well in the 32qt while an adult female should go to the CB70 size. However, I have my '06 females in an RBI 2x3 reptile cage because I see them stretching out and running around at night and because I want them to have lots of room for breeding!

It all depends on how "tubby" your snake is.

    Heh....
