DIY incubator, need some help here peeps :)

Can someone please help me? I've asked this question before but haven't received any replies.

Does flexwatt have to be mounted on a flat surface? the mini fridge i have doesnt have a flat back or flat sides, so I cant tape it down like i see everyone else has done. Can I just tape it lightly over those bumps on the back? like on the top and bottom of the flex? Also, would a 11"x24" piece of flexwatt be enough to heat it? the fridge is 36" x 18" x 18". here's a pic to show the insides of it.

    thanks in advance!

You may not have received any replies because people just don't know. I wouldn't think there would be any problems with taping it over the bumps (using aluminum tape) as long as you have it connected to a thermostat so it doesn't get too hot, but that goes without saying.

One piece of flexwatt should be enough, but I would suggest installing a fan to circulate the air and prevent hot spots.

    Good luck!
