    UVB light

I have a UVB light on the lid of my tank, and Im wondering if its really needed or not. Ive read a lot of things that say yes and a lot of things that say no. I know that BP's are nocturnal but Ive heard that if you do have a UVB source, what little bit they do get is good for them. Ive also heard that you can use a damp towel on the lid of the cage to keep up the humidity level. If i have the UVB light on the lid of the cage then there is no room for the towel. Whats the best for my BP?

UV lights are not needed for Ball Pythons.
