    More egss?!?!

So my crestie laid eggs on 2/3/08 and my male and female have been seperated ever since. Shed been gaining weight back this month then 2 days ago I thought she looked really fat so I tried to pick her up and she started barking at me and shaking her head so I left her alone. Yesterday she let me pick her up and I could feel some more eggs. Later tha night when I was feeding her she wasnt out and about like usual so I lift up a big piece of moss and she laid 2 eggs underneath I was not expecting that at all.
Is it ok for her to lay eggs again only 25 days later?
Think its retained sperm or just some duds?
Should I start adding small amounts of calcium to her CGD or will she be fine on calcium with dusted crickets?
In the end, we will all die alone

    Re: More egss?!?!

They usually lay every 3-4 weeks. Closer to every 4 weeks is most common, but I do have some girls that lay closer to every 3 weeks for a few months each year.

She should be fine with plain cgd and dusted crickets. The eggs are likely fertile--they can retain sperm anywhere from 3-6 months and sometimes a little longer.
