    Question Can't choose a boa!

I'm planning on getting a new boa at the next expo in town which is in may. Some suggestions would be nice but I'm not planning on getting a RTB. Some price ranges on the suggested boa would be nice.

Whats your level of keeping snakes? How much room you got? How much you want to spend?

If your just starting out with snakes, a Rosy boa would be good or a sand boa as they stay small.

I agree with the rosy boa or sand boa if you don't want anything big like a RTB.. I just got my first rosy boa and sand boas last week and read up on a lot of care sheets.. they seem to be pretty easy to care for! A lot easier than my RTBs for sure.

I'm not sure on the exact price range because I got mine in a trade, but I believe that they are not very expensive, young snakes are of course cheaper than the adults.. but it works out nicely because the babies are so cute!

I'm sure you'll get a lot more opinions! Good luck!

I don't mind big snakes like RTB's I just dont find them... interesting. I thought of sand boas and know they aren't hard to care for.

Money and room aren't a problem either.

Go with a Rosy or a KSB, they make great pet boas.

Are rosy boas calmer than rainbows?

Dumeril's boa! I just picked up a baby female 2 weeks ago and am still getting her acclimated to her new home. They're so pretty and are known to be very docile! Also, medium length snake...but a bit on the girthier size. Works for me!

Like Dvas_Romeo said, I've heard Dumeril's Boas are decent snakes. Quite pretty to boot. I just recently picked up a baby BRB and adore her also. Are you looking for something smaller or bigger?

If smaller, KSBs are very neat little snakes.
