    shed cylcle

My baby ball has been acting like he's shedding for the past week solid. I fed him last wednesday and ever since then, he's been under his log hides and behind the vines in the cage. His eyes are extremely foggy looking and his body is very dull looking so I know he's getting ready to shed. How long does a shed cycle normally last? Also, how do I know if he's having trouble getting started? I have a warm damp towel covering 2/3 of the top of his cage which bumped his humididty to 70%. What do you think?

I know mine did that, and I just waited and kept misting the tank alot. He hot the shed started off of his head, and I took him out, soaked him, and it all came off. it took about 1 week

Thanks a lot for the replies. Im a first time snake owner and this whole process has kinda of gotten worried about my buddy. Both of those aritcles were very helpful and made me feel a lot better about the whole situation. Thanks again.
