I didn't know there was such a thing. He's really an eye catcher! Turtles are so cute at that stage. What kind of a set-up will you have for him as an adult? Just curious.

He will end up in at least an 80 gallon tank. Probably when he is ready to move up to the next size tank I will put him in his final tank. The bigger the better, right? He's only in a 10 gallon now, will probably be good there for the next six months or so maybe.
You can get albino or pastels for morphs in RES. I really love the carapace colors and design. My GF is totally in love with him.

He needs bigger than a ten, for every inch on his shell you need ten gallons. so right now i would say at the very least a 20-40 gallon tank. It is also hard to get temps right and to get a good amount of uvb over the tank without over crowding the top of his tank. there are a few more res morphs, like the caramel albino and the super pastel, and a few more i cannot think of. VERY nice pastel, i wish i could handle a turtle right now or id have a few!

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Yeah, I have a buddy with a 30 gallon tank laying around that I will probably be moving him into very soon. He has plenty of room to swim at the moment and a retreat above water on each side of the tank. I'm using a Zilla combo dome with heat and a mercury vapor bulb toward one side for basking and the temps are good. I've heard that due to the extra width in tank that they do well for a long while in a 40 gallon breeder.

That thing is freakishly adorable! I had a little box turtle (not so adorable...) that I saved off the side of the road. He/she was injured and I nursed it back to health for about 18 months before releasing it. I know you're not supposed to move them from their habitat, but when the creek runs through your backyard I think that's a little different. Plus I checked with our family vet (we had tons of animals) and he said it would be fine to help and that it was not illegal. It lived in a kitty pool
