I also have been really interested in the Asian ratsnakes.
I'd be really interested in hearing about how you made your decision and your experiences with your new animal

Re: New Cave Dwelling Ratsnake (MAJOR DUW)
Thanks for all the responses
To Fishmommy,
For the last few Months I have been looking for a new snake. I knew i wanted something that got to a relatively big size (6-8ft) so I decided on the Asian ratsnakes. I liked the colors, speed and overall attitudes of these snakes. After reading the posts and website of Medusa Owl i narrowed my decision down to 3 species. The Taiwan Beautys, The Blue Beautys and the Cave Dwelling Ratsnake. All three are very closely related and the only differences are Color, minor differences in length, and little variations in husbandry ( Caves need a little cooler cages). But pretty much I decided on the caves because of the color( Awesome Blue Heads!) and most people had only positive things to say about these guys.
Bought this little guy off Kingsnake and so far he is doing great. he is like i said a little nippy in his cage but overall i am loving having him.
Anyway long post but thanks for the responses

I Got mine for about 150$ but I am sure it could be more or less depending on age, color etc.
Also if anyone had some good name ideas for this guy it would be great to hear them. I haven't been able to pick a name for him yet.
