    Meal worms for feeder mice

Does anyone here give meal worms to their feeder mice? Mine usually get some as treats once in a while and they seem to love them.

Re: Meal worms for feeder mice

I had some extra mealworms at some point and I gave them to my mice. My mice seemed rather uninterested but I left the mealworms in the food dish overnight (slick sides so they can't get out and into the bedding) and by morning they were gone and I didn't find them in the substrate during cage cleaning so I suppose they ate them. Haven't given any to them since though.
    Under Construction.....

Mine seem to enjoy them especially those about to go pupa, or the pupas, they don't wiggle as much and are easier to eat.
