? about heating a snake rack

I am building my first rack. will be using melmaine& 7 41 Qt. sterilite tubs that measure 34.75in.x16.5in.x6in.
I am wondering what size flexwatt to use and where to buy it.
also what type of reostat & or dimmer to use and where to buy also.
I`m housing ball pythons in the rack so any info would be great thanks.

I would suggest 3" 6 watt Flexwatt for your heat. I always recommend Helix thermostats, becasue that is what we use and have experience with. However, I have heard good things about some less expensive thermostats, but have no experience with them. I would not rcommend trying to run more than 3 pieces of Flexwatt with a dimmer switch, as I think there will be too much instability.

All of your heating items can be purchased from Rich at Reptiles Basics. I, as well as many others on this site, highly recommend Rich. Very professional and speedy with your purchase.
