    Need Amarali advice

I am getting ready to pick out my baby South Brazilian Amarali and would like guidance on how their appearance changes over time. I have heard that they darken up with age. What should I look for in a baby to give me a good chance at having a clean background, high contrast adult?

If you have pics of your Amarali as babies and again as adults that would help!

    PS: I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!

You might consider shooting Gus an email over at riobravoreptiles...while you may not be purchasing an amarali from him, he might be able to give you some good advice. =)

2 words for you: Miller Reptiles. The ONLY person from whom I'd EVER acquire an amarali. www.millerreptiles.com - check out his adults & see how they've held up for color. If he doesn't have the nicest group of SoBraz amarali in the US, I'd sure like to see who does. Barry is a stand-up guy, just top notch to deal with, too. There should be more people like him in the herp industry.

    Re: Need Amarali advice

that is who I am getting it from

I've been talking to him for months (very nice guy, by the way) and am getting first pick...which hopefully will be in the next couple of weeks

I will certainly be getting his advice on selection, but I'm looking for as many opinions as I can get PLUS it gives me an excuse to talk about it with y'all
