    What "morph" is this

Man, ever since i got these mice ive been posting a ton in the feeder section!

This little guy was the only one like it at the petstore, so i have to use him as my male. Hes the first Orange mouse ive seen, and hes not albino. He has dark bands on him( darker in person, the orange is too) and i love him! Has anyone ever seen any like this? Im going to hold back any i get like it( unless they are males) because i love the color.

I mean all of the wild mice in our area are Grey, and have different structures. The petstore people breed their own mice too, and they have locked up screen tops so theres no way one could get in.

It is not a field or wild mouse, at least not entirely. Wild mice are not that bright and the contrast is not as great in a natural agouti.

I have seen mice of both colors that mouse seems to be, I too love the oranges Cute little guy

Hes also not a adult, so is shape is not formed all the way. I have not seem him breed, and he is the smallest mouse i have. Im pretty sure hes a weanling.

I'm not very good with mice colors but he looks yellow. Yellow is a homozygous lethal, something you should google before you breed that color and the colors associated with it. (i believe red is close to the yellow breeding wise)
