Ugly Photo of a Beautiful Snake

Pardon the bad photo -tiny snake + amateur hack photographer = crummy image.

Our new female indigo - Bene. Eating her first meal.

If you've never seen an indigo or a cribo eat, you're missing something special!

Bene took down two f/t fuzzies today, but did it like a monitor lizard would - smacking the lifeless little bodies against the floor of the cage until they were sufficiently "dead", then wolfing them down like chunks of steak. Afterwards, she cruised up to me, tail rattling and upper body in the air, wanting more.

Ton of personality in the drymarchon clan. I'm already in love.

Indigos are so cool.. I've heard of their 'rat smacking' abilities before, but never saw it. Sounds like they'd keep you on your toes!
