    Hairball!!!!

Our lrg. whites dumpy was laying stretched out with his mouth repeatedly gaping. I was sure he was dying. Kelly said it looked like he was choking. Knowing the size of a frogs throat I told her it wasn't likely. He eats adult mice! I picked him up and he had what appeared to be a huge hairball!! Once it was removed he was back in fighting form. I always keep the herp room clean, they are also in a covered enclosure, That cats hair gets everywhere!!

He is quite happy at this moment!!

I would have never thought it. We have a persian cat that leaves chunks of hair every where. Last thing I expected to pull from a frogs mouth!

Wow; I never heard of that! I have seen pics of your cat (is it the huge marmalade-colored one?) I guess that stickie frogs will have hair stick to them!

    Re: Hairball!!!!

I once had a tree frog that I found dead one morning with one of my girlfriend's long hairs completely wrapped around it. You have to be careful with frogs and hair I guess. My darts are in completely sealed vivs, but I'm constantly checking to make sure no dog or human hairs get in them.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?
