    Talking I just couldn't wait for hatching season (new Pastel) (DUW)

    I'm not the sort of person who makes impulse purchases. Not at all. I weigh every choice and do tons of research before settling on what I want. Even with things that aren't alive, I take my time. Well, I knew I wanted a male Pastel to start my plunge into the wonderful world of morphs. And I figured I would wait until the hatching season this year so I could have 'the pick of the litter' as they say. I had been browsing this forum looking at pictures and reading up on what makes a nice Pastel. Through my searches I some how landed on the web site for Ballroom Pythons. As usual a visit to the available page is a must for someone as nosey as me, and that's when I saw this little man;

    The pictures don't do him any justice at all. He's much brighter gold than what it shows. I guess I need a different background..? I'll try again soon after he settles in to capture his true colors.

    Anyway, after talking to Tim ( I couldn't be more pleased with his customer service) and getting a shipping date set I had nothing to do but get excited and wait. I had been waiting all morning (FedEx should have realized I was excited and wanted my snake NOW ) the lovely box finally came to my door. When I opened the box I first saw little Pastel and when I picked his tub up to get a closer look I found this!

    There was a lovely tag on her tub that said,"Happy Birthday, I hope you like her." Not only did I get a gift, I got a female! I couldn't be more pleased.

    Here's a few of them together;

    Thanks again to Tim for the outstanding customer service and beautiful snakes. I'm just over the moon.

    Thanks everyone. I'm just so proud of my new babies. My birthday isn't until Feb. 20th, but I love early birthday gifts.

    What do y'all think of the Pastel? I think he'll be a fine adult and boyfriend for Lily and the new girl.

    I think you have a good eye for the pastels - that's a great looking pastel! And the girl is pretty hot too! What a nice gift!!

    Ok, I sifted through all the pictures I took and the bit of him that's closer to the camera is pretty close to the colors I see in real life.
