Yes!
Well if none of you knew, I have 2 pastels, that would not eat f/t for me at all. They would only take live mice or rats.
Well today I lucky enough to hit the jackpot, and I am now pleased to say that both of my pastels are now F/T eaters
Thanks to everyone who gave me awesome advice!
PS. Marc, you were right, this pastel male has a very high feeding response! The mouse didn't even hit the floor! Haha!

Re: Yes!
Gratz Mine has eaten only F/T so far, but everyone - my family, friends, neighbors - want me to feed live :\

Re: Yes!
I had to feed them live for a bit, and I hated it. It's not that its cruel, its nature. It's just the thought that "what if" that mouse or rat bit my snake while it was being constricted.

Re: Yes!
Good job, it is defiantly not worth the risk. I just adopted a 4' male that had never eaten F/T but luckily for me he doesn't even seem to notice a difference.

don't do it! if your snake is eating f/t don't take the risk of feeding live.. stick to what you're doing.. people sometimes just want to see snakes eat a live animal because they think its "cool", i can understand feeding live out of necessity (which i have done with both of my BPs, and i didn't have a problem with it) but feeding live for entertainment should never happen
live are usually more expensive anyways, and can hurt your snake.. let the neighbors try to constrict a mouse to death and see if they like getting bit by a nasty rodent!
