I really want to get one of these.

Are they easy to care for? I've read about them, but would like to hear from someone who has them.

Are they as nice as larger tortoises (some members of my family think they are too SMALL. ha!!!!)

How much room do they require to really be happy?

I knew one tortoise at a rescue center, and he was great.

Stars are awesome! One of My favorites.. They actually do well in captivity. Males are kinda small but females get alittle bigger. Good luck with it. And post pics!

This is one of my "dream torts". I remember seeing one a long time ago on one of those documentary shows, they are the only tort species that is supposed to pyramid!!!! I don't know much at this point, but this is the best site I have found. Have you found any better? Would love to hear more if you acquire one. We he a RT now and are focusing on her so no new additions for us at this point.

Theyre not the EASIEST tortoises to care for, however, if you cna meet what they require then you'll have a great tortoise there.
Theyre very nice marked, and very simple.
But their care cna be hard
