Have you had any trouble with a shelve of heat tape not heating up? I have the shelves individually wired, plugged into a power strip, then plugged into my thermostat. I am using a herpstat two. My bottom shelve isn't heating up. I figured it was bad heat tap so I bought some more and just installed it and it isn't heating up either. I took the plug and moved it into the receiver on the herpstat and still nothing. I know it heats up, as I tested it before I installed it, and the other piece I thought was bad isn't. It heated up no problem once removed and placed in a different outlet.

    Am I exceeding the wattage?

    Re: New Rack Complete

Do you use only long tape and run it through the whole thing. Or do you use individual tape per row?
