Question pics and question about my new bp

I just got my first ball a little over 2 weeks ago...Apple. Got her from the local humane society.

She's very gentle and super curious (click for larger pics)

As a new bp owner, I am learning lots and am wondering a few things...Can someone help with what kind of markings and coloring she is/has?

She looks like a normal to me, but I have no info about where she came from or what her parents were. She is shedding right now, and so she's darker than normal...

Also, the vet from the humane society said that she was approx 1 1/2 - 4 years old (what a range?!?), and was overfed. He recommended that we feed her every 2 weeks.

She's almost exactly 3' long, and it about 5 1/2" around at her largest girth point.

So far she ate an adult mouse last Sunday - I was surprised at how fast she took it down!

I need advice on her feeding schedule - please! Should I continue feeding her with something smaller then she is girthwise? Weekly/biweekly? I don't want to starve her, but am not sure what to do.....

Re: pics and question about my new bp

She doesn't appear overweight to me. I would feed her once a week on small/small rats if she'll take them or two adult mice a week (on the same feeding day - let her eat one, re-adjust her jaws and offer the second).
