    favorite Baron's racer pair

I haven't taken pics of these guys forever, and had the camera handy while I was cleaning today. They are almost up to breeding size, so I'm hoping we will have at least one clutch this season. These are some of the funnest snakes I keep right now, very active and inquisitive.

Here is the smaller of the two females, but my favorite

This male is the brightest green of the four we have, with the longest dorsal stripe. He started out as the pickiest eater of the group, but has almost caught up now.

    Thanks for looking!

    -Evan

Are those a rear fanged colubrid if I remember right?

They are definitely an awesome looking snake, how are their temperments?

Thanks, and yeah they are rear-fanged. They have never attempted to bite or strike in defense in the year-and-a-half that I have had them, but I handle them with thin gloves and long sleeves anyway. They are very flighty in their cage, but calm down once they are out. They always poke their heads out of their hides when I come in the room, as they are constantly hungry. I am always amazed at how much they will eat, and be hungry again in a matter of days.

Those are so cool Evan! I have been tempted to add some of those to the collection. Maybe in a few years.

Thanks, and they don't really change color from hatchling to adult, no darkening at all.
