    i need some help identifying the spieces

    these little guys are for sale in a local, not so good, petshop

    they are described by one assistant as a "horse shoe" tortoise, but im assuming they mean horsefields which they definately arent as far as i know tho they were in a tank with one

    the second person working there seems to think they are red footed tortoises but ive seen red footed before and i dont think they are

    can anyone give me some hlep here? thier shell is very high and they are different to any ive seen before, sorry about the photo quality, i had to use my camera phone

    He reminds me of what we used to call a "box turtle" when I lived down in Florida (I was a kid at the time). They lived in the back yard and dug burrows. I don't know much about torts or turtles, though Sorry I couldn't be more help!

    looks like one of my friends Korean jungle tort but i doubt you would find one of them in a local petshop prolly a russian

    the one in the forefront looks like a leopard tort hatchling, the other looks like a russian tort. I have both species and sure looks like mine.

    your right about it not being a sulcata , its a leopard tort.
