    Re: Our Own Vet List

Possibly because nobody has recommended any vets to us from there?

    Re: Our Own Vet List

For anyone in the Tampa area, I recommend Dr. Tony Qureishi of Animal & Exotic Medical Center in Lutz. He is a snake and lizard keeper, himself and has been excellent with my skink and chameleon.

awesome idea, thanks to those who came up with the idea and got the ball rolling. Also, thanks to those who have taken the time to add the suggested vets. I personally don't yet have a vet I recommend, but will surely let admin know if I find one. Thanks guys!

    For New York Residents

    Hello:

I would like to recommend The Village Animal Clinic as a great place to go for exotic pet care.

They are located at Voorheesville, New York. Here is their info:

    The Village Animal Clinic
    http://thevillageanimalclinic.com/
    518-765-0111
    70 School Road
    Voorheesville, New York 12186

I took two of my BPs there for concerns of parasite infections. One BP needed meds, and that visit cost me less than $100, meds included. Their staff and facilities are actually qualified and equipped to handle a lot more than just dogs and cats - we are in upstate New York, so they serve a lot of the private farms and horse owners here. What I love about this place is that there are actually two exotic experts on staff, both are equally knowledgeable. It definitely made scheduling easier - plus the fact that they open until 7/8 in the evening!

    Re: Our Own Vet List

Hello, the vet I would recommend is Dr. Greeks and Associates. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and have great prices. Although I have yet to use them for reptiles, I have used them for birds before.

Please add the following to the vet list. I took my GTP for a vet visit and they are really well versed in reptile and snake care.

I'm putting this here because your PM box is full

Have one more vet to add. This man is about the best you will find. His knowledge and skill with reptiles is amazing.

If you are near Memphis Tennessee, this vet is your best option for reptiles hands down. He is currently treating my GTP's prolapse and I trust him with her life.
