What I meant was, it's relevant in general, since zoonotic diseases are on everyone's radar these days, what with the pandemic. And considering that viruses do mutate, & that not all of our "germs" are harmless to pets, or vice versa. All I was saying is that I can see why someone weighed in on this poll.

Besides that, it can be hard to tell what exactly IS a human cold, & when it's something that just resembles a cold, but which isn't...

The other thing I just noticed is that the thread title and the exact words on the poll are not the same.

The thread is labeled: "Can our snakes catch our colds/germs?" which is a different question than the poll asking "Can a snake catch a cold/flu from a human?" -since colds & flu may result from "germs" but not all germs produce colds & flu. No wonder we can't agree, lol.
