I am the Lorax, I speak for the snakes!

I'm such a nerd, lol. I made this for my about the artist page because it makes me laugh.

For those going "wtf?" It's Dr Suess's Lorax dressed as the Minoan Snake Goddess.

That is awesome! What a great and creative way to spend time. I think you should use it as your avatar sometime (though your current avatar ROCKS - maybe signature line?). I think Dr. Seuss would approve.

Thanks guys, I'm glad I'm not the only one amused by him. I may use him as an icon down the road, he's cute, silly, and apt.

It's a good thing he's fuzzy too, or that outfit would be under quarantine, lol.

Re: I am the Lorax, I speak for the snakes!

I would have linked to a pic of the Minoan Snake Goddess, but she's erm... always portrayed as very topless (yay for Lorax fur, lol!)

Not a whole lot is known for sure about her, or the Minoans in general, but here's a link to a summary of some theories and studies. http://www.pantheon.org/articles/m/m...e_goddess.html I adore obscure mythological figures.
