Re: Hardest Snake to Photograph
And you wonder why I don't have any pic of my Colubrids (well except for one)
Very nice I can't wait till mine grow to that size.

That white tail is hot!
Seems like I'm always making comments about tails around here... does this mean I'm a tail girl? Gotta get me some of that tail!

Aren't milks just such boogers? There's a reason I don't have many pictures of mine, it's not that I don't try.. it's just I usually end up getting only half of the snake in the pic, and it's just a blur of red.
Emi is looking mighty fine by the way. Beth is taking good care of her I can see!

Her tail always was quite faded and white, even more so as she's gotten her mature coloration. I'm just glad her yellow didn't fade as much as I've seen on some other Albino Nelson's as they matured.

Thanks GA. I'd rather take pics of just about any other snake in the house. Emi's our only colubrid and I break a sweat chasing her around to get a couple of decent, unblurred pics LOL.

Thanks Laura. We used Emi at our snake school visit. She's the first snake they saw and she's so pretty that it's hard for anybody to be afraid of her for long. She's very calm and inquisitive too, so makes a great little snake ambassador.

LOL Lynn...no comment!

Good pictures too... I know how fast colubrids can be.
Thanks!

Thanks April. Emi's been a dream for Beth to care for. Nothing bugs Emi, she's never nipped or musked since she was a tiny hatchling and will easily eat mice or rats, live or f/t - Emi could care less as long as dinner comes along. We couldn't have picked an easier first snake for Beth.

Re: Hardest Snake to Photograph
Yeah I've had the same experience with my albino nelson. Never an issue.. except for being too wiggly for the camera.
