My rat setup
Here's a pic of my rat-room setup. I just added 3 more girls (subadult, about half grown) to the herd. This brings my total to 1.11.2. One female has babies (only two!?); three are about to pop, one is with the stud now, and the rest are growers.
I also have 0.1 mouse; fed her babies off to the hatchlings and she is preggo again (in smaller metal cage atop the tank.) The tank on the farthest right is storage for things like my feed bucket and dustpan for cleaning. Pine/Aspen shavings, but one has the wood pellets as a trial. Enjoy!
All of the tanks are recycled, unwanted fish tanks and I did not pay more than $5 for any of them. A few were garbage-picked and bleached! And one of the "tank stands" is actually a castoff apartment washer machine that was destined for the scrapyard. I like to know that I prevented some crapola from sitting in a landfill.
-Jen. Back in the hobby after a hiatus!
Ball pythons:
0.1 normal; 1.1 albino. 1.0 pied; 0.1 het pied; 1.0 banana.

agree. will save you a lot of room. room is very rare when it comes to a big collection and home grown feeders

Re: My rat setup
but i agree with you. this hobby is not cheap considering if you have a million mouths to feed with different sizes and types(mice, rats, rabbit, etc..) so anything that works in the mean time it will do. just as long as your pets are happy even if it sacrifices space.
