    Truro Nova Scotia...

Anyone gonna go? I'm still thinking about it!

Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

    Re: Truro Nova Scotia...

I'm not from Nova Scotia, I'm from New Brunswick. But Truro is like a 2 hour drive away!
Yeah they dont have many Expos around the Atlantic Provinces. I don't think New Brunswick has an Expo?? They might! Not too sure!
They are not very big either! The Truro expo couldn't have had more then 10 tables from what it sounded like, but they are growing slowly.
I think they had a JPC table, a few BP's tables, some Corn and King tables, and I heard they had some burms going too, and a drift wood table. I guess a guy goes out and collects drift wood, cleans it up and sells it. Crazy!
If they had some GTP's I might have gone cause that's what I'm getting next and it would have been a good opportunity to meet some breeders and maybe even get to handle one, but I didnt hear of any going!
I think "new2BP" went. I wonder what he saw!?!?!

    Re: Truro Nova Scotia...

I had a hard time even finding a pet store in NS that had mealworms (I brought my leos with me when I stayed for 3 months.) When I finally did find some mealworms, it was a store in the basement of someone's house and the woman had them all in a big box and counted out several hundred one-by-one with tweezers, it was nuts, lol. I'd be curious to see what they had at the expo, I never see reptiles besides iguanas up there! I go to the Digby area, I don't really know Truro all that well although I'm pretty sure I drove through it when I missed the ferry and had to drive around the Bay.

Yeah, if you drive to Digby you go through Truro.
It does make more sense to take the ferry, plus you save the gas as well... But the price of the ferry compared to the price of gas is probably the same, if not more I would think!
