Do they have mags specific for snakes?

All the Reptile magazines I've heard of are about any reptile, but are there mags that are just about snakes?

I have never seen or heard of a magazine entirely dedicated to snakes. I subscribe to several reptile related magazines from all over too. Even magazines from other countries focus on reptiles in general not just snakes.

I really wonder if there would be high enough demand for a snake only magazine. If you include lizards and turtles, the consumer base drastically increase since lizards and turtles are more commonly kept than the snakes.

I think there is a scientific journal devoted only to snakes; however, I am uncertain.

Unfortuneately I bet that scientific journal is devoted to information about the snakes of the world, not actually taking care of them.

Pickings for reptile magazines are depressingly slim in the US right now. Reptiles is pretty much it. They swallowed the Vivarium, and...
We lost Reptile Hobbyist, and Reptile and Amphibian Magazine (which I liked). I think there was one other that I'm forgetting now too.

Oh, so they DON'T sell the Reptile Hobbyist anymore. Thanks, I had to know that (seriously, I'm not being sarcastic) Have you heard of any Reptile magazines that are still in production?

Only "Reptiles" in the US. There are a couple overseas.

There aren't any magazines that are just about snakes (there should be), but the monthly Reptiles magazine provides you with lots of information about snakes (this month happens to have Blood Pythons as the cover story) and it's just $24 for a year subscription (12 issues).

    My snakes:
0.1 Kenyan Sand Boa ~Nephthys~ (aka "Linky")

    In a better place:
    1.0 Pastel Western Hognose ~Charon~ 10/3/07-4/24/09

If you need/want to know anything about Hognose snakes, just ask me.
