Louisiana Herp Trip (ton of pics)
Got back tonight from the trip. Heres a few pics from the trip.
We arrived late Friday nite, and found the campground by pure chance LOL. After visiting with everyone for a lil bit we set up camp.
The next morning as we are waing up and planning the days activites as for where to go and look, we heard my sons friend Zack, holler snake back behind our tents. Heres what we found the first day around 9 in the morning.
Female Rat snake, very docile only attempted to bite once.
Here she slithered under my legs as I was taking pics of her.
Later that morning we found a Fence Lizard.
When we got back Shane had found this Buttermilk Racer in blue.
Shane also found this little Ribbon Snake.
Later in the day, we drove to Nacatoches,La to go flip some tin and when we where there we found this beautiful juvinile Coral snake.
One of the girls who came out caught this corn snake, and brought it out for us to see. It appears to be blind in one eye. It didn't really wanna pose for pics too much LOL.
Heres a pic of the bad eye.
Shane caught these 2 pygmy rattlesnakes, adn brought them for everyone to see.
The other pygmy rattlesnake.
The trip was alot of fun and I enjoyed meeting everyone.

My dumbass is probably wrong, but I think your cornsnake there is an eastern milksnake (like I said, most likely wrong lol). Anyways, awesome finds! Especially the Coral, gorgeous.
