    Tucson Reptile Show

Anybody else attending the http://www.tucsonreptileshow.com/ this year? Karen and I are making two trips this year, one on Sat and one on Sunday with Amarin. Curious to see who else we might run into!

Re: Tucson Reptile Show (D/U DEATH!)

I guess it was just me? In any case, I took a ton of pics as well as a couple of vids! Dial-up... you were warned. First the vids...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9EIGmrjaWw
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrWxeaqoRwo

Finally got to see some Caulker Cay boas in person! And man, dwarf boas are bigger and heftier then I imagined. With my back and all, I think asian rats and ball pythons are as big as Blue Gorgon are going to go and I'm removing boas from the wishlist. I love boas to BITS but I think even the dwarf species are unrealistic for me personally. Which is cool, I love retics too and am willing to adore them without owning one.

Kings, milks, and scorpions oh my!

BEAUTIES! I chat Laura at LVJ Reptile's ear off every year, lol. She raises Taiwan beauties along with tons of gorgeous geckos and my new favorite lizard the jeweled Lacerta! We're gonna keep in touch and see if some of the local herp gals can get together more often then just the once a year at the Tucson Expo.

I've always thought that if we ever caved and got a lizard, we'd go with a beardie... but OMG Karen and I love jeweled Lacertas! We so fell in love. Oh, the temptations...

This guy was nice enough to let us get a shot of his sweet ickle baby smooth green snake.

Karen and I cuddled a baby Taiwan Beauty <3 So little! I can't wait to have regular beauty clutches of our own! Cute shiney ickle bullet heads, lol.

    Mmm, Axanthics...

    Beardies are so freaking adorable...

The skunk striped king is my fave king morph

A baby ball and a baby corn eyeball each other through the plastic, lol

    Gotta love rubber boas!

More kingsnakes and some not so snakey customers!

    Awh, baby toitles.

This lovely Irian Jaya Python posed for me!

Gah, and a ton more. I'll post more later, or a link or something. I've gotta run and get some other stuff done!

    Re: Tucson Reptile Show

It's generally the last weekend of Sept, yesterday was the last day. Sorry! I tried to give a heads up. We go every year now, well worth the drive (hell, we drove down twice this year!) and a lot bigger and better organized than the Phoenix expo, which I have no idea when where if or how that one's going now.

    Here's a link to the site! http://www.tucsonreptileshow.com/

Also, here's a link to the rest of my pics. It's just easier then copying it all here with a different picture format.

    Re: Tucson Reptile Show

Arg! And here I am about to move to Tucson in 2 weeks, and I miss a great show!
Just wanted to ask a few things if you had the time. Any news on the Phoenix expo? Do you think it would be a good place to pick up a BP or a corn, or should I try the online route? Never been to a show in AZ, but I'm looking to get a corn or bp once I get down there (still haven't decided which) and have a place set up. Thanks for your time!
    It's okay, I don't understand me either.
