    fat tail breeding question

Is it necessary to have a cooling period when breeding fat tails? I know with ball pythons, it can be used or you dont have to cool, but is it needed for these guys, or just a choice?

thanks; everywhere it seems to say you need to, but those people say they didnt and still got eggs. And for balls all the care sheets say it is needed, but it isnt. I guess Ill just experiment when I get mine.
