Dwarf Gourami injury help!
I found one of my dwarf gourami's wedged inside of one of the tank castles openings a little while ago and could not free him without breaking the castle with pliers, gently of course. He is swimming around and acting ok, but on the top of his body right behind his head on both sides he is scarred up from wiggling while trying to free himself. Is there anything that can be done such as medicine or whatever to help him heal? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Dwarf Gourami injury help!
Melafix works nicely for those types of injuries. It come sin a blue, kind of see-through bottle and has tea tree oil in it. It won't hurt the other fish whatsoever.

I'll second the Melafix but if an actual infection does occur you will need to medicate with antibiotics.
