Could be fasting... Do you think you over fed her last time? Give it a week. If that doesn't work, wait another week. They can go a while without eating, just try every week, and keep us posted..

    Hope this helps

Make sure the husbandry is set good as that can cause issues with feeding. Also if they are stressed out (possibly from too much handling) that can cause issues. Or they could just not be hungry. If you are feeding f/t you can try live (just make sure you have some sort of enclosure to keep it in if the snake still doesnt eat). You could try switching to a different type of food i.e if you are feeding mice try switching to rat pups, just make sure that if you switch its something you can get on a regular basis without it getting too expensive as sometimes when you switch they wont go back to eating what they previously were.

    it's not winter though...

can you describe your set up, temps, humidity, how old is she, how long have you had her, what are you feeding her (mouse, rat, F/T, live?), and anything else that might be important.

Where did you purchase her? Has she ever eaten for you?

Honestly, it's very probably that the cage is a bit too large for her. I would cover three sides of the tank, and put in at least 6 small dark hides. (there should only be enough room for her in there) I would also ball up some newspaper loosely and toss it in to help make her feel more secure.

Re: Help Need Tips On Feeding

Refusal to eat is a symptom of a problem, not the problem itself. If you can give us more details about your setup (other than just it's a 40 gallon), how you have tried to feed this snake, it's feeding history and so forth it might help us better help you.
