    My Bubblegum Ratsnake.

Hi. This thread is for my bubblegum ratsnake. I will hopefully update pictures as it grows. I haven't had it sexed yet. It's a little shy but nice. Maybe I'll get a camera that can really bring out it's beauty one day.

For some reason I was expecting a pink snake...

Oh well, nice little guy/girl either way.

They can have pink, and this one has quite a bit but it's more pinkish orange. They're usually bred with a little corn snake in them.

Hoorah, got off some pics that do the the color variations a little justice.

Isn't that a Baird's Ratsnake? It looks a lot like one.

It could have some in it. I can see the corn definately, but don't know what ratties they put in to the mix. Usually black and everglades.

Kind of a pot luck kind of snake, but beautiful when lucky. It's first shed was the other day, perfect one piece that I'm keeping. Never seen a snake so sparkly after a shed before.
