Re: Just put a deposit down on this guy!
A moonglow looks a lot like a snow, but the genetics are different... and you can tell when you really look at them. Check this out, it has the moonglow now, at about three feet, compared to a sunglow (you have to scroll down): http://locolizards.com/moonglows.htm
A snow is an albino anery. But the moonglow takes it one step farther... you have to throw the hypo gene in there. A moonglow is an albino ghost, or a hypo snow, or, if you want to say it the long way... a hypo albino anery.
The odds of hitting a moonglow in a ghost to albino breeding are slim... though I believe Locolizards hit the jackpot and did just that. But out of that breeding you will get your hypos 100% het for albino, 100% het for anery... or, triple hets!
It's a fun project... in the longterm, I would love to get a coral albino and see what the color might do to a moonglow. Plus, the side project is to produce some killer, clean ghosts. I don't think there's anything prettier than a light, clean ghost.
Brandon, Gwydion was produced by Marc Solis. I don't think he has any DH Sunglows at the moment... but he's Marc's Reptiles on fauna if you want to check.
Thanks guys!!! I can't wait to see him in person!
