    i keep seeing people with rack systems where on the hatchlings tubs there is back heat instead of under the tub. is there any difference?

    two different methods of achieving the same result is all... Back heat works well for shorter tubs, or where the room is heated to the same or near the cool side temp, where as belly heat is used in larger tubs, or rooms where the temp has to be significantly higher inside the tub than in the rest of the room.
