Day 60... POP!!!!

The little slits started last night, and this morning so far there's one Het Albino! I have three eggs yet to even start, so more to come (and hopefully an albino or two)

Unfortunately for my wife, she breeds chinchillas... one of her pairs finally had an "Ebony Whte" the other day (which is pretty rare) and she'd been looking forward to getting this for 2 years... I go down to see if the snakes had hatched and it was dead.

This business can be so heartbreaking and so rewarding... all in the same day sometimes.

Congrats on the clutch pipping. I hope you get at least one albino. So sorry to read about your wife's loss of that very special chin...that must have been just heartbreaking.
