    yup... another bunny!

introducing our newest member to our clan... little oreo! he's about 3 - 3.5 months old... sweet as pumpkin pie and fitting in beautifully. we are, of course, keeping him sep from gingersnap and working with them daily to get them to be bunny buddies and live together eventually.

he goes to the vet next wed. to get neutered.

and in case any of you forgot how adorable gingersnap is... (she's spayed and 7.5 months old)

    Those are the cutest bunnies!!!

    and I love the names!

    what type are they?

Caitlin wants a bunny and we were thinking of getting her a dwarf bunny but I want to do some research first.

    Re: yup... another bunny!

rice milk in our house LOL

they are both holland lops which don't get very big at all. absolutely wonderful little friends for my daughter.

gingersnap doesn't like to leave her hutch. she reaaaaaaaaally loves her condo LOL - so far oreo loves to come out and have snuggle time. can't wait to get him neutered so we can house the two of them together.

honestly, the main reason i agreed to let my daughter get another bunny friend is for gingersnap. since she really prefers to be in her condo instead of hopping around the house or the yard, i wanted her to have a companion instead of just her stuffed cat slipper (which she thinks is a bunny and grooms daily LOL)

hopefully now that she has a friend, she'll be more interested in exploring the house with her new buddy.

so far... with all our introduction times (have done three so far) the bunnies have gotten along perfectly, so i'm sure they'll be living together soon enough. at this point we have oreo living in the top floor of gingersnap's condo. (just have it blocked off so they can't get together). so gingersnap has the bottom two levels and he has the top one. each level is just over 4 sq ft.
