    red ackie pictures

    snapped some quick photos today of my ackie.
    by the mouth of his burrow

    his burrow. i occasionally mist the opening to his burrow so it holds up better. today was one of those days.

    Wow very nice, makes me want one even more. What size tank is that? also how often do you change/clean the dirt out of your tank, looks like it's alot of lifting lol.

    i think its like a 125 gallon or something. i know its 5ftx1.5ftx2ft(LWH). my neighbor gave it to me for free because he knows i have pythons and my dad and i modified the lids for a monitor.

    ive never changed the dirt. its natural dirt from dry creek bed so whatever i dont clean, or the rollie pollies and earthworms dont eat, the natural bacteria breaks down.

    haha, thanks Jo! man its good to "see" ya! hes not normally as plump. hes just full of a couple mouse fuzzys in these pictures. hes more lean after his daily dump.
