    When I used to go visit my Great Grandma she had this huge garden...you would see them all over the place. Sometimes they would even get into the house, and I was the only one not afraid of them.

    That was years ago and I haven't seen any of them sense. Sad really.

    I don't even see the common box turtle in the yard anymore.

    Awesome find though, and beautiful pictures.

    Great pictures and great find!!

    I found a newborn ribbon snake on my back porch the other day...it was caught in a spider web.....I gladly set it free. They are so fragile when they are so small.

    Right? It's shocking how tiny this guy was... Amazing that any make it! Mother Nature keeps me in a constant state of awe!

    They've really gotten rare around here too. I remember when I lived in NC they were all over the place, then before I moved they were hard to find. I see a few more down here in 'Bamer but not as many as I used to find on my little summer trips to the old farm. I wonder whats causing this?

    What is it an anole?

    Wow I wish I had reptile wildlife in my back yard...being at an apartment complex I don't have a backyard but we do have a herd of bunnies around here.

    less n less? no way. i saw 15 full grown ones in my buddies back yard. hes infested with them!
