I'm excited, she's in blue now.

For the first time with me. It's so hard to tell on a charcoal snake

    congrats...

yea when my amel when into shed i didn't notice her eyes change at all. i took her out one day and she looked very pinkish. i asked everyone in the house "does she look more pink to you?" cause normally she is much more red. couple days later while changing her water i find a complete shed.

does your guy's color lighten up?

Now I know that when she's in blue I'll be able to tell
I took like two pictures of her and put her right back up cause I'm trying to stress her as little as possible, but of course it's her first shed with me so...

I've never had any trouble knowing when my charcoal is in blue. He also refuses to feed the entire time so that's a good indicator.

Re: I'm excited, she's in blue now.

Well before her eyes went all hay wire like this it was hard to tell what I was looking for since it was my first time.
Last thursday when I first noticed this, was her feeding day as you can see, she had no qualms about eatting.
Dunno if she'll want to eat today thought, her eyes went clear.

Nice work. My snake just went through its first shed with me. It actually made me pretty worried since it stopped eating long before its eyes went milky. It was pretty amazing though.
