Well, Lotus my little Mexican black king has been pissed at me ever since I made a mistake while feeding.

You see, I had switched her tub with my jungle carpet python.. I put Lotus on the bottom, and moved Fern one up.

Well, the next feeding day, I forgot I had switched them, and opened up Lotus' drawer thinking it was still Fern's (Fern is much bigger) I had Fern's good sized rat in the tongs at the time.

Well, little Lotus just shot out of her drawer and grabbed Fern's rat (can we say WAY too big) So.. I took it away from her (not easy)

Ever since then she's been pissed with me.. hence the gloves now when I handle her. She wanted to prove a point!

Hm.. well let's see.. she must be 2.5 or 3 years old now. I have a card around here somewhere with her birthdate.. yes I believe she was born July of 2004.

She held on for quite awhile. My finger was turning colors when she finally let go. lol
