But I'm hoping that one day she'll be tolerant of me handling her etc...
It took me some time to get mine settled down. About 4 months. He isn't quick to bite but there were moments I thought a hit was coming.
I found that keeping the lights in the room very low when handling kept him calm. That seemed to help him out the most.
