what a good day
i bought a new hatchling 2 weeks ago (you may remember my "emerald jewels?" thread). well it came time to feed her. i REALLY didnt want to feed live, but i bought a live hopper. i tried like 5 times to put the mouse in the tub but i kept taking it out! i felt bad. however, overnight, the mouse died, so i was able to throw the dead one in there. despite hearing how hard it is for hatchlings to eat p/k, she ate it right up!
also, if any of you guys have read my "i got an internship at a refuge" thread, we recently acquired a bp (unsexed) that i loved instantly, despite her attitude. anyways, the owner let me have him/her! she ate a biiiiig mouse the second i threw it in there and shed almost the same day! i was so scared she would either not eat, or not shed in one piece, but he did great! here are some pics. he/she is about 1300 grams
and heres frank, doing well. hes a possible het ghost june 06 male.
and here is my rack that took me all of 45 min to put together, and $5 in scrap wood haha
take it easy guys! thanks!

very nice! getting them to eat pre-killed is usually not as hard as f/t. Mine are picky about it being dry and really warm.
cool homemade rack
