    LTR's = Spawn of Satan

    On another thread I was commenting on the LTR snakes temperment. I'm currently housing an adult pair and the female is an absolute freak. I went in with gloves to clean and she bit my thumb. I took the glove off thinking she'd release it. Nope she proceded to chew and swallow.

    It's not the greatest pic, but you get the point.

    I was taking pictures that night and had my camera ready. I was able to ever so slowly work the glove back out without a problem.

    Leustistic texas rat snake. An all white rat snake with deep blue colored eyes and an evil temperment, although some are quite docile.

    i heard with balls that if they don't let go, you can run warmish water over their heads and they'll release... does that really work? and would it work with other snakes as well?

    I agree! I know the one I had was named Lucifer because he/she was a total nut with a huge attitude problem! I handled him/her daily and it seemed the more I handled him/her the meaner he/she got. I had enough with that and ended up selling that snake. They are super pretty, but do not have a good temperament at all.
